Roles & Responsibilities:
- Performs the daily preparation and running of anesthesia for large animal surgical models.
- Coordinates with vendors and supervisors on operational, administrative and technical responsibilities.
- Perform some surgical procedures.
- Responsible for overseeing procurement of animals and supplies, preventive maintenance of facility equipment.
- Follow standard operating procedures, department operating procedures and Work Instructions to comply with regulatory requirements.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Prefer Research medicine background Experience in Small animal practice
