Primary Function of Position:
As a member of the Regional People Services team, the People Services Specialist 2 will play a key role in supporting HR programs and policies, processes and systems to ensure that HR service delivery is timely, efficient and compliant. They will provide world class customer service for HR second level tier support. The People Services Specialist 2 will work collaboratively by building strong relationships that foster trust and accountability across the organization in support of the company mission, vision, and core values. This will be achieved by resolving timely and accurately questions related to employment policies, programs, and processes. S/he will act as an escalation point and liaison for resolution of more complex cases.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized support and best practices that spans the employee life cycle, recruitment support, case management, talent management, policy development and implementation.
- Analyze and answer complex or reassigned HR inquires. Take initiative and actions to propose updates to procedures and services based on lessons learnt
- Liaise and coordinate support from and escalation to other Subject Matter Experts (SME) / Tier 3 e.g., local HR Business Leaders (HRBLs), HRIS and Center of Expertise (CoE) for collaborative case management. Build and maintain effective relationships with other functions to deliver customer - centric HR services.
- Contribute to annual / recurring HR programs including performance and compensation planning and talent planning/development initiatives
- Develop and monitor People Services KPIs to identify efficiency and digitalization opportunities.
- Works with other HR functions to identify issues, streamline processes and build synergies through locations and functions to improve employee experience and efficiency.
- Prepare accurate and effective documentation / communication to customers in consultation with HR compliance, People Solutions and HRBLs for process / procedure / policy changes.
- Propose and execute People Services internal controls. Support integrity of employee records and HR systems performing audits.
- Update People Services Knowledge Base and deliver training when required
- Contribute to coaching and development of People Services Tier 1 representatives.
- Support recruitment activities following up on job codes creation, JD’s updates, HCM updates.
Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent HR certification with +7 years of experience in HR employee life cycle, HR compliance and service delivery, in a multicultural environment
- Strong knowledge of US labor laws
- Experience in process documentation and management an advantage
- +3 years of experience in HR Shared Services and improvement in HR service delivery
- Experience working in a fast-paced technology company where and comfortable in a complex changing work environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, initiate and identify solution whilst prioritizing work and meeting deadlines
- Excellent customer service and service quality improvement skills
- Strong analytical skills, self-motivated and goal oriented individual, passionate about improving business performance
- Collaborative, team player attitude with a customer service mentality
- Excellent communication including verbal, written and interpersonal as well as organization skills
- Experience with ServiceNow and Oracle a strong advantage
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
