Primary Function of Position:
Storage Operations Engineer: Works with individual teams to ensure proper operations within the Technical Operations Storage Infrastructure.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Duties will include;
- storage health checks and Share/LUN provisioning and implementation.
- Works with Reliability Engineering, Database, Network, and Infrastructure teams to determine best practices and will lead the implementation of best practices.
- Will take the lead on metrics, monitoring implementation, and data migration.
Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:
- Extensive knowledge of NetApp, HP Nimble, VMware VSAN, and iSCSI network protocols. Troubleshooting expertise in storage performance on the listed platforms is required.
