IntoJobs, part of the IntoWork Group, is seeking a passionate Employment Consultant to support participants in the Workforce Australia program to move into fulfilling, long‑term employment.

This is a hands‑on, people‑focused role where no two days are the same – and where your work genuinely makes a difference.

About the Role

As an Employment Consultant, you’ll work one‑on‑one with a caseload of participants, providing tailored, people‑centred support to help them overcome barriers and achieve meaningful employment outcomes.

Your success will come from your ability to motivate, engage and support individuals while balancing outcomes, relationships and administration in a fast‑paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Motivating and empowering job seekers to build skills, confidence and work readiness
  • Identifying and addressing barriers to employment
  • Creating tailored service and support plans
  • Connecting participants with suitable, sustainable employment opportunities
  • Building strong relationships with local and national employers
  • Providing post‑placement support to job seekers and employers

About You

You’re organised, empathetic and results‑focused, with a genuine passion for helping people succeed.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience supporting people from varied socio‑economic backgrounds
  • A results‑focused mindset and comfort working towards targets
  • Strong organisation, administration and reporting skills
  • Flexibility to manage competing priorities in a changing environment
  • Experience in employment services, recruitment, community services or a related field (desirable, not essential)
  • Intermediate MS Office and database skills
  • A current driver’s licence (where travel is required)
