The Opportunity

We're seeking an Estimating Manager to lead our estimating team and drive the preparation of high-quality tenders across our water infrastructure projects. You'll be a people-focused leader with strong estimating experience, a commercial mindset and the ability to build strong relationships across the business. Partnering with operational and business development teams, you will play a key role in driving strong tender outcomes and support successful project delivery.

You will bring:

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within the construction, civil or infrastructure sectors, with the ability to develop high-performing estimating teams and foster a collaborative team culture
  • Extensive senior estimating experience, including the preparation of complex cost estimates and pricing submissions
  • Demonstrated experience using benchmarking, cost analytics and market intelligence to inform pricing decisions
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and estimating systems, with a track record of improving estimating processes, tools and methodologies
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across operational, business development and delivery teams.
