The Opportunity

At Interflow, innovation is a strategic priority. As Project Engineer – Innovation & Strategic Solutions, you’ll help shape the future of engineering by turning complex operational and customer challenges into practical, safe and scalable solutions.

This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional project delivery and work across the full innovation lifecycle, from concept development and research through to prototyping, field trials and deployment. Partnering with the Innovation Manager and operational teams, you’ll apply systems thinking across mechanical, mechatronic, civil, process and chemical domains to deliver integrated, value driven outcomes.

Ideal for a hands on and versatile engineer, this role offers the chance to work across disciplines, explore emerging technologies and see your ideas implemented in real world environments.

You will bring:

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering (eg, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Process, Chemical, Civil) or related discipline
• Exposure to or experience in highly regulated industries (e.g. water, utilities, infrastructure, manufacturing, resources, pharmaceuticals)
• Postgraduate qualifications in Innovation Management, Project Management, or Sustainability is desirable but not essential
• Familiarity with innovation management standards, eg, ISO 56000 series is desirable but not essential
