The Opportunity

We currently have a new opportunity for a motivated and technically skilled Design Engineer to take a lead role in delivering infrastructure solutions within the water utilities and pipeline rehabilitation sector. In this role, you'll be instrumental in managing and driving engineering outcomes across a diverse range of projects, working closely with internal delivery teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely, high quality, and cost effective results.

You’ll be entrusted with full ownership of your projects’ design phases, from scoping and coordination to reporting and risk management. and have the chance to directly influence project strategy, resource planning, and technical delivery. With a strong pipeline of work, this role offers the chance to work across innovative pipeline infrastructure projects, solve complex engineering challenges, and make a measurable impact on project performance and customer satisfaction.

You will bring:

  • A Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • More than 3 years experience in a design dedicated role, ideally within infrastructure or civil projects
  • Strong understanding of contractual requirements, project budgets, and resource planning
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
  • Proficiency in design and project tools such as Excel, MS Project, and CAD
