About Us

With over 85 years of tangible impact, we have carved out our place as a leader in water infrastructure across Australia and New Zealand. Embrace the opportunity to be part of our dynamic team creating the future of water for generations to come. Your expertise and dedication will play a pivotal role in our continued success and be a driving force in our journey towards a water-resilient world.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer to join our Projects Delivery team in a hands on, site based role that focuses on delivering measurable improvements in productivity, efficiency and safety across construction based projects. Working closely with Project management teams, Supervisors and frontline crews, you will identify smarter ways of working, reduce waste and variability and embed practical, sustainable improvements into daily operations.

You will apply Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies to analyse workflows, solve operational challenges and implement practical solutions that enhance sequencing, methodologies and site processes. You will drive initiatives that eliminate nonvalue add activities and advance pipeline rehabilitation methods, while ensuring alignment with engineering and safety standards.

This is an opportunity to lead CI initiatives on live projects, track and report measurable outcomes and foster a strong culture of continuous improvement across delivery teams. It is important to note that this role is field focused and not purely analytical or advisory.

You will bring:

  • Degree qualification in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Process, Manufacturing or related field)
  • Exposure to and an understanding of Lean principles & continuous improvement methodologies, ideally in manufacturing environment (or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with internal teams, industry partners, and research institutions
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and curiosity
