The Opportunity
We’re looking for a people-focused Community Relations Coordinator who enjoys connecting with others and making a positive difference. You will bring strong communication skills and a natural ability to build trust as the key link between our construction projects and the communities they impact. With a strong focus on clear communication and proactive engagement, you will help keep residents, businesses and stakeholders informed and supported while minimising disruption.
You will bring confidence in building positive relationships by listening and responding to concerns, preparing and sharing project updates, and representing our projects at community and stakeholder meetings. With a focus on organisation and accountability, you will maintain accurate records, support Project Managers with day-to-day communications, and take a hands-on approach through site visits, door-knocking and proactive community engagement.
You will bring:
- Experience in a customer facing, community relations or similar administrative role within the construction industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work independently
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- High interpersonal skills – you enjoy engaging with people, are a good listener, and show empathy for others’ needs and concerns
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Communications, Community Relations, Social Science is desirable but not essential.
