The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Design Engineer to join our Engineering Solutions team and help deliver innovative pipeline infrastructure across Australia. In this role, you’ll support the Design Manager on tender and operational projects, applying your engineering knowledge to real-world design challenges. You’ll help review and verify designs, improve design tools and processes, and contribute to the evaluation of new technologies and products.

This is a great opportunity to grow your technical skills, gain exposure across the project lifecycle, and work with a supportive team committed to innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

You'll Bring:

  • A relevant engineering degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • CPEng or equivalent accreditation or the willingness to obtain this if not already attained
  • Knowledge and/or experience in underground pipeline infrastructure design and /or construction, ideally across both pressure and gravity pipeline systems (desirable)
  • Finite element modelling skills and experience
  • Familiarity with Australian (AS/NZS) and/or international design standards.
  • Knowledge of structural analysis and design principles
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with proven ability in preparing technical reports
