The QLD State Property Manager is responsible to lead and manage the Infinite Care Residential Aged Care Providers Australia | Infinite Age Care (infin8care.com.au) facility maintenance staff to ensure the preventative and corrective maintenance of the buildings & grounds, alterations & repairs of our facilities & the daily maintenance checklist functions. 

The QLD State Property Manger ensures that the Maintenance staff complete the required repairs & maintenance on all equipment & assets as scheduled or requested by the residents, staff &/or management. This role is also required to conduct home tours, audit the presentation of the homes & property maintenance schedules/paperwork to ensure all up to date.

This role is a full-time role & will see you supervising our Maintenance Officers across SEQLD and NQLD. The ability & willingness to travel is considered an integral part of this role - A current driver's licence and car is a must - a car allowance will be paid to cover car usage and fuel.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Lead & manage maintenance staff to ensure all policies and procedures are maintained.
  • Lead & manage the maintenance staff to ensure the properties & equipment is maintained to a high standard.
  • Overseeing the maintenance reports & ensuring ongoing communication with the National Property Manager.
  • Ensure buildings are maintained in accordance with required standards through the implementation of a preventative maintenance program.
  • Provide an efficient and effective response to breakdown maintenance issues by liaison with the Facility Manager & coordination of contractors or service providers as necessary.
  • Identify building, plant & equipment upgrades required to meet standards, including Building Certification standards & initiate upgrades in liaison with the National Property Manager subject to the approval by the Chief Strategy & Development.
  • Provide advice in respect to the maintenance requirements & suitability of proposed equipment purchases.
  • Coordinate & participate in an after-hours emergency maintenance services.
  • Ensure grounds & gardens are maintained in accordance with the required standards.

 About You:

  • You are trade qualified.
  • You have excellent computer literacy.
  • Previous experience in Aged Care.
  • Hold a resident-centric mindset which flows through to all aspects of your work.
  • Ability to problem solve and ‘think on your feet’.
  • Exceptional communication skills & the ability to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to learn and desire to continuously develop as a result from feedback provided by residents & managers.
  • Property management experience is preferred.
  • A valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willing to apply for one)
