Our Leadership Role

Our General Managers are the heart and soul of ensuring our residents always gain the best care and access to safe facilities to live their best lives!! We take their care very seriously and fully appreciate our home is their home every day!!! We have an exciting leadership role available at our Tweed/Coolangatta care home which is perched high above the stunning Northern Rivers Region of NSW, offering a tranquil retreat with sweeping, uninterrupted views of the ocean and hinterland. Our care home combines the comfort of luxury living with the peace of professional, compassionate care whilst being a proud local employer of choice in this community.

This modern facility is set on lush elevated green space and has been designed over 2 levels with sweeping views of the ocean. Two levels are dedicated to resident accommodation and communal areas including dining and lounge areas, a shared library, activities rooms, barista cafe, outdoor garden nooks, function room, and administration centre. Conveniently located only 10 minutes from Coolangatta city centre, local bowls club, several medical practices and public transport, Tweed care home is ideally located, providing residents calm and peaceful living with a real sense of community connectedness.

About You

You will be an authentic, compassionate and value centric people leader who aligns with our philosophy and core values on resident wellbeing, quality of care, employee engagement, and operational excellence!! You are a natural people person who thrives when being with your people --- walking the floors touching base with residents, their families and our staff whilst leveraging your strong capabilities as below;

  • Senior leadership capabilities across the dynamic operations in a residential aged care facility, including aged care accreditation standards, aged care legislation and a strong working knowledge of aged care funding.
  • A highly collaborative, approachable, and influential leadership style focused on the provision of clinical care and customer service to residents, and the management of staff.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence all stakeholders to achieve outcomes and achieve cultural change.
  • Superior communication skills verbal, written & an appreciation for a multi-cultural healthcare workforce.
  • Significant change management experience.
  • Passion and commercial flair to profitability of your business, developing occupancy sales strategies and a strong commitment to both local community allied health & sector networking experience to underpin your occupancy and admissions strategy.
  • Very comfortable in a KPIs and service level (SLA's) performance, people engagement and workplace safety environment whereby you skilfully use these frameworks to driver operational excellence and a high trust environment.
  • Astuteness across P&L's, Budgeting, and financial management acumen.
  • Ability to put systems and processes in place at every level of a new business/facility.
  • You are solution focused and think innovatively to achieve the highest level of staff engagement, resident outcomes, and satisfaction.
  • Have the necessary NDIS sector compliance requirements (*or willing to obtain).
