The Opportunity

Join a growing, values-driven organisation where your analytical expertise will drive real workforce impact. Reporting to the CFO, the Workforce Analyst will play a key role in turning workforce data into actionable insights that optimise staffing, support compliance, and enhance care delivery across Infinite Care. With a strong focus on workforce analytics, this role requires hands-on expertise in Power BI and SQL to build and maintain dynamic dashboards, support forecasting and compliance reporting, and influence strategic workforce decisions.

This is a full-time permanent role, based in our National Support office in Bundall – a hybrid opportunity may be available for the right candidate.

Our Role

Supporting strategic and operational workforce decision-making, this role delivers data-driven insights through rostering analysis, compliance reporting, and predictive workforce modelling. It bridges operations, HR, and finance to enhance workforce performance and improve resourcing outcomes.

  • Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards offering real-time visibility into key workforce metrics such as staffing, FTE utilisation, absenteeism, and care minute compliance
  • Use SQL to extract, manipulate and analyse workforce data from multiple sources (e.g., HRIS, payroll, rostering systems)
  • Analyse shift patterns, skill mix, and roster allocations to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and optimisation opportunities
  • Build forecasting models that integrate occupancy, clinical needs, and budgetary constraints
  • Monitor KPIs including overtime, turnover, agency reliance, and casualisation rates
  • Collaborate with Rostering, HR, and Operations teams to improve data integrity and reporting consistency
  • Assist with compliance reporting and standardisation for government obligations (e.g., care minutes)
  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives, recruitment forecasting, and workforce optimisation projects
  • Support the rollout of workforce systems and automation initiatives

About you

Ideally you bring experience in aged care, healthcare, or another regulated, shift-based workforce environment. You understand rostering systems and industrial frameworks and are confident using data to improve workforce strategy and resourcing models. Your toolkit includes Power BI, SQL, and Excel, and you can interpret complex data for non-technical audiences.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, Analytics, or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a Workforce Analyst, HR Analyst, or similar role
  • Advanced Power BI skills, including DAX, data modelling, and visualisation best practices
  • Strong SQL skills with experience querying complex workforce data
  • Familiarity with HRIS, rostering, time & attendance, and payroll systems
  • Excellent Excel and data manipulation skills
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement ability
  • Passion for optimising people and process through data

Desirable

  • Experience in aged care or healthcare
  • Familiarity with rostering systems (e.g. UKG, Kronos, Humanforce)
  • Understanding of EBAs/awards and their impact on resourcing and compliance
  • Exposure to predictive analytics or workforce planning tools
