The Opportunity

As the Quality & Assurance Advisor, you will provide assurance, coordination and practical support to strengthen Infinite Care’s regulatory readiness, quality systems and governance oversight. Reporting to the National Excellence & Risk Manager, the role focuses on coordinating audit preparation and follow‑up, maintaining high‑quality regulatory evidence, supporting mock audit and re‑registration programs, and enabling consistent assurance processes across the organisation including risk and policy support.

In summary this position will:

  • Lead and enhance the organisation’s Risk Management Framework, including monitoring risks, supporting incident reviews, and maintaining the Enterprise Risk Register.
  • Provide expert risk management advice to operational leaders and escalate significant risks to senior management.
  • Develop, review, and update organisational policies and procedures in line with legislation, standards, and best practice.
  • Coordinate the Policy Review Committee and ensure complex regulatory information is translated into clear, accessible documents.
  • Support quality, compliance, and continuous improvement activities, including audits, accreditation, and regulatory reviews.
  • Ensure policies and processes meet Aged Care, NDIS, WHS, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with organisational and legislative obligations.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support risk, quality, and compliance initiatives.

About You

  • Comprehensive understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards/NDIS Practice Standards and contemporary compliance frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory audit processes, re‑registration requirements and quality assurance principles within the Australian aged care and NDIS sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory reform and sector changes within the Australian Aged Care environment.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply legislation, standards, and compliance frameworks.
  • Proven competence in technical writing and document management.
  • Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with clinical information systems, incident management platforms, and Microsoft Office applications (desirable).
