The role of Roster Coordinator & Administration officer is a critical part of ensuring operational staffing per day per shift is meeting the needs of the residents, their engagement and high-quality clinical and care needs. Reporting to the home’s Administration Manager, this full-time permanent role is accountable for is responsible for rostering and assisting the Administration Manager. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure that Autumn Aged Care operations/services are maintained in an effective and efficient manner.

A day in the life could look like:

• Manage, administer and fill the agreed roster with appropriately qualified and skilled staff to ensure that residents receive services at all times
• Confirm timesheets and related payroll and roster queries
• Utilise existing rostering and admin technologies to ensure all employees are communicated clearly and updated with operational information
• Provide a high level of customer service, support and guidance to visitors, suppliers and service providers that come to the home. Cover reception duties where appropriate.
• Ensure all administration record keeping and retrieval activities is completed at expected standards.
• Support with new resident admissions ensuring all pre-and post-administration activities is completed within organisational guidelines.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives ensuring quality of care outcomes.

About You

• Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills to engage effectively with residents, their families, staff, and visitors
• Excellent attention to detail when completing a range of administration tasks, monitoring compliance, meeting operational standards, and documentation processes.
• Excellent computer literacy skills and the ability to follow set technology processes and equipment use.
• Effective time‑management and prioritisation skills to navigate a fast‑paced environment. Willingness to offer your support to leaders and staff to support residents care outcomes.
• A passion and commitment to delivering exceptional service to elderly residents, with a strong customer‑service mindset.
