Due to continued organisational growth, we are expanding our People & Culture Business Partnering team to support leaders navigating increasingly complex people challenges.
About the Role
As a People & Culture Business Partner, you will be a trusted advisor, partnering closely with leaders across your portfolio to deliver practical, people‑focused solutions. The role combines hand-on operational people support – including performance management and investigations – with strategic initiatives that build capability, strengthen culture, enable high performance and enhance employee engagement. You’ll join an established People & Culture team that values practical solutions, sound judgement, and supporting each other through people challenges.
Based in either Gold Coast or Brisbane, with flexible hybrid work, this role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys complexity and variety, balancing risk, compliance and compassion with a strong service delivery mindset in a purpose-led industry.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partnering with leaders on a wide range of employee relations matters, including performance management, grievances, conduct and complex people issues.
- Coaching and influencing leaders to build capability, confidence, and strong people leadership practices.
- Ensuring compliance with industrial instruments, legislation, and P&C policies while proactively managing workforce risks.
- Leading or supporting organisational change, engagement initiatives, and cultural programs.
- Analysing people data to identify insights, risks and opportunities for strategic interventions.
- Contributing to culture, engagement and leadership capability initiatives aligned to organisational priorities.
- Collaborating with Talent Acquisition, L&D, Payroll, and Compliance to deliver seamless people services.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to leaders, building strong relationships across sites and the broader P&C team.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in HR business partnering roles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence, build trust and manage sensitive conversations.
- Proven experience conducting fair and timely workplace investigations, with strong report writing skills and clear documentation of findings and outcomes.
- High emotional intelligence and confidence navigating complex or high-risk situations.
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, awards, and ER best practice.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in aged care, health, or another highly regulated sector (desirable).
- A relationship-focused, service delivery mindset and a genuine commitment to supporting leaders and teams.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- NDIS Workers Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
