About the Role
We’re looking for a permanent full-time Barista / Café Allrounder at our Mt Lofty care home. Be at the heart of our community, serving great coffee and snacks while creating a warm café space for residents, families and visitors. Typically, this involves:
- Delivering a friendly, professional café experience for residents and visitors.
- Prepare and serve hot & cold beverages and café snacks, barista skills and certification desirable.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming café environment.
- Following café procedures to ensure smooth, high-quality operations.
- Supporting stock management with the Chef Manager.
- Assisting with dining room service when needed.
This is a physically active role requiring daily bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing. You must be able to perform these tasks safely to protect yourself, your team, and our residents.

About You
Aged care experience isn’t required - what matters most is a passion for customer service and a positive attitude. Hospitality qualifications (Cert II or similar) are highly regarded but not essential. You will bring:
- Demonstrated barista experience and love for coffee.
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills.
- Awareness of workplace safety and hazards.
- Confidence to work independently or with the hospitality team.
- Flexibility, reliability and good availability to cover shifts.
