About the Role:

We know aged care doesn't sound like a sexy industry to work in but here’s why you'll love joining our Marketing Team!

  • More creative the better. We are an innovative, progressive and growing business who are keen to stand out amongst our competitors – we love a fun campaign and have the resources to bring these to life.
  • Permanently based in Bundall (Gold Coast) you will join a friendly, fun, flexible and collaborative team who are valued within the business and given autonomy to best promote the brand out in the marketplace. This role is mostly office based with scope to work from home up to 2 days a week after 6-month probation period. Office location proximity is important. We are across from HOTA with ample parking and public transport options.
  • Our marketing team is small and mighty – we move fast and get to work alongside almost every function in the business to support our resident and staff initiatives. This means you will really feel like you are part of something meaningful, and know you are part of a big team, full of knowledge and all working towards the same goal – keeping our residents and team happy and engaged!
  • Be led by a highly engaged National MarComms Manager who is based locally, has intimate knowledge of the business and is very hands on in the team. You will always feel supported and have consistency at all times.

Think of this role as a "Marketing Concierge" being accountable for;

  • Filtering and qualifying all internal requests, coordinating these requests to each team member's key areas, keeping us on track and accountable for all actions and deliverables. Act as a concierge - help us deliver outcomes seamlessly!
  • Proofing and distributing digital marketing communications to internal and external audiences and assist with marketing creation as required.
  • Assisting with creating, collating and distributing monthly monthly newsletters as required.
  • Actioning small design tasks as required ie. poster creation, campaign collateral, PowerPoint presentations, changes to existing marketing collateral.  
  • Being an active and proactive team member with continuous improvement projects, team building, events and broader business events.
  • Ad hoc tasks may include proofing, campaign assistance, ensuring brand consistency with documents, tasks for facilities and more.

About You:

You thrive in an environment where priorities may change on a dime. You may have thought your day looked a certain way – and this could change and shift your focus elsewhere. Never a dull moment - you will need to be comfortable in ambiguity and have an optimistic, upbeat, can-do attitude where no task is too much trouble, and you do it with a genuine smile! You are a detail oriented, dynamic, fast paced, creative and have a great sense of humour (essential!). You get excited by new ideas and thrive in a collaborative team environment – but you also have the ability to work autonomously to get things done!

  • Minimum 1 years’ industry experience and minimum 2 years in a similar role
  • Welcoming Marketing, Communications or Media graduates or those who are nearly complete with their studies encouraged to apply
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to liaise with a wide group of stakeholders
  • Happy to work in a small team, be social, establish your own ways of working yet highly collaborative
  • High attention to detail, excellent editing, daily task prioritisation and planning skills
  • High level proficiency in Microsoft Office, Vision6 or similar, Adobe Creative Suite - Indesign
  • Flexibility, adaptability and willingness to embrace change and development - variety is the spice to life we say!!!
