The Role

Reporting to the Senior Clinical Development Officer, this full time 6-month fixed-term position of Clinical Development Officer will work closely with General and Clinical Care Managers, as well as the Clinical Governance team, to deliver high-quality learning and development opportunities for our clinical and care support teams.

This role supports our three Aged Care Facilities in New South Wales – located in Padstow, Padstow Heights and Wyoming – as well as digitally supporting teams in South Australia and Victoria. Travel to SA & VIC will be required on occasion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and facilitate clinical learning programs using contemporary learning principles
  • Provide best practice clinical education and development support across designated Aged Care Homes and interstate as required
  • Collaborate with the Capability, Development & Learning Manager and Clinical Governance teams to implement and evaluate training initiatives
  • Manage regional training calendars and support site managers with local training planning and delivery.
  • Act as a mentor and role model for clinical and care teams, promoting professional growth and Infinite Care’s values.
  • Contribute to organisation-wide clinical education projects, communication, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

You have the ability to “think on your feet” as well as the ability to communicate effectively, build rapport and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike.

In addition to this you should:

  • Be a registered Nurse with current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience
  • Experience in clinical education/teaching within the health sector or other relevant teaching experience
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Education, Clinical Supervision or similar (or working towards)
  • Experience in development, delivery and coordination of Nursing education programs
  • Previous experience in Aged Care (*desirable)
  • Have a valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or apply via How to apply | NDIS)
  • Have the ability to travel between to our SA Care Homes and ocassional travel to NSW & VIC
  • Hold a current driver’s licence
