About the Role!

Come and join the Infinite team as our new Maintenance Officer on a full-time basis at our aged care home, Cleveland. Infinite Care Cleveland Aged Care Home | Redland Bay QLD

This role offers great work life balance as the hours are Monday to Friday, starting at 7.00am & finishing at approximately 3.00pm. The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate for this permanent role and a fortnightly paid phone allowance.

Day to day duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Join daily leadership meetings to be across and agree on daily activities and priorities.
  • Undertake general maintenance observations & activities smoothly and to an agreed standard in accordance with Infinite standards, plans and guidelines.
  • Ensure all emergency, preventative and corrective maintenance is carried out in accordance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Commitment to a safety-first workplace for self, residents, colleagues and visitors.
  • When required oversee and coordinate any required contractors working on site.
  • Exceptional client service skills are important to ensure success in the role.
  • Flexibility to undertake a wide scope of activities including but not limited to: landscaping and garden maintenance; general repairs; waste removal; painting and test and tagging (training can be provided after commencement).

 About You:

  • Previous property maintenance experience is preferred.
  • OHS understanding and strong commitment to safety first workplace and culture.
  • As a great self-starter you will have excellent time management skills which enable you prioritise work schedules to desired completion standards.
  • Work autonomously as well as a member of the team and have a strong customer service focus.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills and ability to multi-task.
  • A valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willing to apply for one)
  • Positive `can do' attitude will ensure your success in this important role.

This is a physically demanding maintenance role, applicants must be capable of safely performing manual handling and other physical duties.
