Infinite Aged Care is seeking an experienced Roving General Manager (RN) to support operations across our Care Homes in QLD, VIC, NSW, and SA.
The successful candidate may be based in any of these states.
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Clinical Roving General Manager will work across multiple Care Homes nationally, providing high‑level operational and clinical leadership.
This role will also act as the right hand to our General Manager – Operations and will require you to:
- Travel as required to provide coverage for Care Home General Managers during periods of leave across Australia
- Provide support in the capacity of Clinical Care Manager when needed
- Preparation activities for re‑registration
- Manage and support a skilled workforce to deliver excellent, resident‑centric care
- Ensure compliance objectives are met and safe, effective care is consistently delivered
- Actively manage occupancy, labour costs, and operational expenditure
- Foster a resident and family‑centred culture through strong engagement and consultation
About you
You may be an experienced State or Regional Manager (AHPRA‑registered) who has previously overseen multiple care homes and is now looking to scale back the scope of your role. Alternatively, you may be a General Manager seeking an intermediate step before progressing into a State, Regional, or Operations Management position in the future.
In either case, you will be an exceptional leader and communicator, innovative in your approach and highly attentive to detail. You’ll enjoy being on the road, working across different homes, and embracing a role where no two days are the same.
You'll also have:
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- A strong working knowledge of aged care accreditation standards and relevant legislation
- Solid understanding of aged care funding models and processes
- A leadership style which instils confidence and enables those in your charge to focus on the provision of excellence in the areas of clinical care and customer service.
- Business development, networking and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- A deep empathy and genuine care for aged care residents.
- Having a valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or apply via How to apply | NDIS).
- A proactive and measured attitude to identifying & preventing safety hazards in the workplace.
- Adopt a safety-first approach to daily tasks and supporting colleagues at all times.
- A commitment to attend safety specific training and upskilling sessions paid by the company.
- The willingness to come up with safety ideas that improve awareness, hazard reduction and incident reporting.
