Our Personal Carer Worker (PCWs) are highly interactive supporting our elderly residents, their families, and colleagues 7 days a week across AM, PM and Nightshifts. This role will see you working closely with the nursing, hospitality and resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers. Ideally, you have worked in the Aged Care sector for at least 1 year and the ability to “think on your feet”, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike. In addition, you will also

  • Very positive teamwork attitude, a trusted co-worker, excellent time management (we are a shift driven workplace including handovers) and follow strict safety procedures at all times to maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
  • Computer savvy including using emails, word and navigating inhouse training platforms.
  • Excellent workplace safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping, falling or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears.
  • Qualifications in Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) OR have completed 1st year nursing studies with a placement in Aged Care. We do recognise other Cert III courses in related healthcare studies. Industry work placement will also be needed to meet compliance standards.
  • Hold the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance as this is essential to work in the Aged Care sector. (*or willingness to obtain)
