The Opportunity

Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Analyst will be instrumental in turning complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic and operational decisions across Infinite Care. With a strong focus on advanced analytics, this role requires hands-on expertise in Power BI and SQL to develop and maintain financial dashboards, support scenario modelling, and deliver high-quality performance reporting across all levels of the business.
This is a full-time permanent role, based in our National Support office in Bundall - a hybrid opportunity may be available for the right candidate.
Our Role
Supporting strategic and operational decision-making, this role delivers data-driven insights through advanced financial modelling, Power BI dashboards, and SQL-based analysis, bridging finance and data to drive performance, enhance reporting, and enable effective business planning.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and self-service reporting tools to provide real-time financial and operational insights
- Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyse large datasets from multiple systems and databases
- Partner with business units to understand reporting needs, translate them into data models, and deliver customised analytics solutions
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
- Analyse financial and operational results to better understand company performance and identify areas for improvement
- Partner with business units to prepare management reports and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership
- Assist with pricing analysis, business case development, and scenario modelling for new commercial initiatives
- Ensure data integrity and alignment across finance systems (e.g., ERP, BI tools) and reporting outputs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, HR, Procurement, Marketing & Communications, and IT teams on financial matters
About you
Ideally you bring experience in aged care, healthcare, or other regulated service sectors, with a solid understanding of funding and compliance models relevant to government supported environments. You have hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, along with familiarity in ERP systems like TechOne and business intelligence tools such as Power BI. Knowledge of data governance, ETL processes, and tools like Power Query will be highly regarded.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- CA/CPA qualified (or progressing towards completion)
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar Financial Analyst or Commercial Analyst role
- High proficiency in Excel and financial modelling
- Advanced Power BI skills including DAX, data modelling, and visualisation best practices
- Strong SQL coding skills (e.g. writing complex queries, joins, CTEs, performance tuning)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement ability
- Adaptability in a fast-paced and evolving environment
