The Opportunity

At Infinite care, our General Managers play a critical role in ensuring that our residents have the very best care and facilities available. They provide leadership, direction, and ensure a safe working environment for the staff under their control.

Ultimately, our General Managers are accountable for the day-to-day operations and financial performance of the facility.

Located in Kilburn, South Australia - This is a 54-bed care home where you will be given the autonomy you require to make your mark and contribute to the development of an unparalleled level of residential aged care. Don’t confuse autonomy with a lack of support, because you will have the full backing from a strong, engaged, and seasoned leadership team.

Churchill Retreat, located close to the Adelaide CBD in Kilburn, boasts comfortable sunlit rooms and inviting internal courtyards. Well regarded for its home-like feel and secure dementia support unit.

About you

You may be an experienced General Manager who has previously run a smaller facility or an experienced Care Manager who after working in a larger facility is now looking to take “the next step" and take charge of your own residence.

Either way you will need to be an excellent leader and communicator who is innovative in their thinking and has strong attention to detail as well as:

  • A strong knowledge of aged care accreditation standards and legislation.
  • A sound knowledge and understanding of aged care funding mechanisms.
  • A leadership style which instils confidence and enables those in your charge to focus on the provision of excellence in the areas of clinical care and customer service.
  • Business development, networking, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • A deep empathy and genuine care for aged care residents.
  • Budgeting and financial management acumen.
  • The ability to put systems and processes in place at every level of a business/facility.
