Aged Care Provider - Redefining a New Generation of Residential Care

An opportunity exists to join the Infinite Care team as a full time Service Desk Officer to provide IT support and assistance to our up-and-coming aged care facilities across Melbourne. - initially working out of our office in Prahan, once our amazing new care home in Knoxfield is ready, this role will be working between the 2.

Reporting to our IT Operations Team Lead, you be supported by an existing IT support team to provide the very best customer service experience to our staff and residents. The position will be based in Prahan and will involve some travel to our various VIC facilities as required and as we grow.

  • Carry out tasks as assigned in support of departmental operations and objectives.
  • Respond to and answer any queries and support requirements through phone or email.
  • Assist in the rollout and delivery of IT additional services to facility residents.
  • Provide training to residents and staff on general computing skills and application specific requirements.
  • Liaise with third party suppliers of IT product and services where required.
  • Help drive organisational efficiencies through implementing new information technology initiatives and projects.
  • Provide a high level of communication and reporting to internal users where IT issues and problems arise that impact operational requirements.
  • General IT administration requirements and projects as directed.

You will offer:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users with passion and patience.
  • Practical experience providing IT support and assistance in a multi-site organisation.
  • Experience working with printers, MFD and the setup and support of these technologies is desirable, as is experience with Office 365, Microsoft Office product and SharePoint.
  • A current driver’s licence and car is required.
  • Having a valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
  • A proactive and measured attitude to identifying & preventing safety hazards in the workplace.
