The Role                                                                                   

At Infinite Aged Care, Housekeeping Assistants play a critical role in providing quality laundry services which focus on infection control and ensuring a safe and healthy living environment for residents.

Working closely with the care home General Manager and the Hotel Services Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing laundry services and generally ensuring that residents daily needs are met. This role is a physical role whereby you will do a lot of bending, squatting, lifting and pushing items to carry out your daily tasks safely. It is important you can perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues and our residents. The attached position description outlines duties and accountabilities for this role.

About You

At Infinite Aged Care, we hire on attitude and aptitude, so you DO NOT need experience working in a commercial laundry, but you do however need to be aligned with our philosophy and values and have a commitment to resident wellbeing as well as the following,

Our care roles are busy! Alot of bending, lifting, pushing and squatting to perform your duties safely. All candidates will be required to complete an online medical assessment to maintain personal and workplace safety standards.
