Ian Martin Workforce is working with one of Ontario's most reputable industrial and Commercial Boiler and Burner System companies that manufacture and maintains high-end Boilers, Pumps, Burners as well as providing 24-7 services to their clients within Ontario.
As our new Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing start-up services, troubleshooting, and repair activities on natural gas and light oil-fired industrial boilers in the field at customer sites. You would be an ideal fit for this company if you have a desire to learn and grow as a trades professional as well as have a passion for troubleshooting and can work independently to solve problems.
Responsibilities:
Represent the company in a professional, courteous, and customer service-oriented manner on each and every call; you are a proud ambassador for the company.
Maintain, service & repair commercial, industrial process burners, and boilers
Contribute to business growth by offering the customer the best advice.
Adhere to all safety rules and procedures.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
Level 1 gas license is required
OBT 1 oil license is strongly preferred but not required
5+ years of experience working as a service technician in a related industry
Experience working on commercial/industrial hot water boiler systems
Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems, and understanding of gas and oil combustion
Ability to read and understand prints, drawings, and technical bulletins
Basic computer skills to complete service reports and logs
Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
