2-4 years Sales Experience

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for developing new business relationships as well as identifying prospective ones. You will report to the General Manager and work on increasing revenue, meet with clients, maintain productive relationships, facilitate business growth across Ontario with enthusiasm and commitment.
Build market positions by locating and developing new business relationships
Identify prospect needs and understand their business drivers
Perform market research to identify prospective customers
Provide customers innovative solutions and maintain productive relationships
Meet with clients in the public and private sectors throughout the 401 Corridor
Prepare sales presentations, business proposals, and quotations
Prepare relevant reports for business development activities
Work closely with internal Operations and Administration teams
Complete other duties as assigned
College diploma in Business Administration or related experience
2 - 4 years sales experience
Minimum 1 year experience cold calling and direct sales resulting in successfully obtaining customer appointments.
Must have experience in the Environmental Services industry including Liquid Waste, Solid Waste, Hazardous Waste, Comfort Stations, Kitchen Services, Garage Services, Industrial Services (Dry and Wet Vacuum Trucks, Hydro Vac Trucks, High Pressure Water Blasting, Working at Heights, Confined Space) and/or experience in Heavy Civil Construction, Concrete Ready Mix or Aggregate
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including active listening skills
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a time-sensitive environment.
Be a proactive problem solver with a sense of urgency and follow-up.
Excellent organization, Planning, Prospecting, and Presentation skills
Ability to close sales and excellent interpersonal skills
High level of professionalism and integrity
Capable of upholding high safety standards
Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
Experience in MS Office and knowledge of Salesforce, SAP an asset
Must have a valid G driver’s license
