Senior Welders/ Fabricators

  • Langley, British Columbia
  • Full-time permanent
  • Day Shift: (Mon-Friday) 5:00am – 2:30pm. OT after 40 hours
  • $35-43/ hour depending on experience
  • MIG welding 47.2 Aluminum Welding and 47.1 Carbon and Stainless Steel a MUST!

Ian Martin Workforce has paired up with an industry leader within the water and wastewater treatment industry. This facility (45,000 square feet) located in Langley B.C performs all functions in-house (turnkey) which include: advanced in-house engineering, fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, and project management.

Due to profound growth, we are looking to add 6 Welders/ Fabricators to the team that is experienced in Aluminum, Stainless, and Carbon Steel.


Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Carbon Steel fabrication and welding.
  • Ability to Read/Fabricate/Weld components using various shop equipment/tools following specified layouts, engineering drawings.
  • Perform work within the required tolerance.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Maintain daily records and perform tasks within a set budget
  • Participate in QA/QC activities and internal audits
  • Mentor and coach other team members
  • Occasional Site work and associated travel as required


Additional expectations:

  • Following safety protocols and participating in HSE initiatives
  • Safe use and operation of forklifts, hoists, hand power tools, rigging, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools as required. (training is provided)
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Daily inspection of tools, equipment, and PPE for the group


Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Accredited Trade school or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years relevant fabrication and welding or equivalent
  • 2+ years as an Intermediate fabricator/welder or equivalent
  • Certifications: CWB & ASME (as applicable), Overhead crane and forklift
