Ian Martin Workforce has partnered with a high technology company that offers production solutions of machine tools, laser technology, and electronics. in this role, the primary responsibility is daily production in the TUSP optical coating department, including set-up, qualifying, and running production equipment.


You will be doing…

  • Complete work according to documented instructions, in a tightly controlled environment. 
  • Qualify tools for use daily.
  • Handle chemicals used in the process.
  • Test process results on stated parameters.
  • Follow documentation and safety protocols.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area.
  • Stay current on revisions of the product.
  • Follow TRUMPF Quality Standard (TQS).
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Cross-train with Production Technicians at TUSP
  • Understanding of cleanroom process and methodologies
  • Physical cleaning/scrubbing/maintenance of production equipment.
  • Perform Quality Inspection/Documentation per process standards.


Why this is the right job for you…

  • High School education required, Associates' Degree in Electronic Technology or related field preferred.  
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience required working in a similar environment
  • Knowledge of at least one of the following process areas preferred: ultrasonic cleaning, vacuum deposition, visual inspection, and testing of optical components. 
  • Must have basic knowledge of SPC concepts. 
  • Must be able to work standing up for 8-hour shifts, handling up to 25lb production materials.
  • Able to wear a smock covering the entire body while working. 
  • Able to work with chemicals, gases, and microscopes
  • Able to work independently and demonstrate an extremely high level of precision and accuracy.
  • Able to commit to schedule, reliable transportation to and from site; flexible to work overtime when needed
  • Willingness to ask questions and work safely at all times
  • Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol testing and Criminal Record Check is required
