Process Operator

Ian Martin Workforce has partnered with large chemical manufacture and looking to give opportunities to those that have a strong desire to learn on the job and want a future within an organization that promotes from within.

This is a great opportunity for someone that is looking for a stable job, willing to learn and develop your skills. This would be an ideal role for someone with previous experience in manufacturing. This role will be operating a sit-down forklift and securely attaching hoses to drums to fill them with liquids.

You will be…

  • Filling product into drums and totes at the automated drumming station or at manual scales
  • Transfer of finished materials through pipes and hoses with pumps
  • Operates valves, manipulate switches, etc., for drumline operation and sampling
  • Moving materials via forklift
  • Cleans vessels, pumps, and process lines to avoid product contamination.
  • Monitoring scales and controls for accurate filling
  • Preparing packages for shipping, making sure they are clean and labeled
  • Entering batch confirmations into SAP
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Performs other work as required and/or assigned
