Service Coordinator

  • Full-time permanent
  • 25-29$/h + all benefits (vacation, RRSP, flex days)

Ian Martin Workforce is working with an Industrial Engineering group that designs and supplies machines, process equipment, and production lines for the world’s largest industries. If you consider yourself a self-driven, responsible, and detailed oriented individual then this may be the right opportunity for you. As the new Service Coordinator, you will be the main contact for all planning inquiries. You will answer quotations and support the branch manager in project management. The Coordinator will also provide an aftersales quotation for spare parts.

Day to Day:

  • Planning schedule for service technicians; make sure spare parts are provided on time and coordinate the supply of mobile equipment;
  • Create or update the maintenance planning to their customers
  • Answering service calls during business hours ;
  • Quote spare parts and labor estimation for aftersales such as quote after inspections, repairs.
  • Provide feedback to customers/technicians for technical inquiries and technical issues;
  • Answer quotation requests and follow-up; Estimate and quote on specific projects request. Deliver and review quotes with customers,
  • Promote company's products and services to their main customers
  • Participate in the process improvement for Aftersales activities and customer care.
  • Works closely with the Ontario Branch Manager to assist with fulfilling orders for major projects
  • Works closely with service technician team including the team in Québec to provide best-in-class customer response time.


Education & Qualifications

  • Technical diploma in a relevant discipline;
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position, in an industrial field;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent ability to multi-task;
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variable
  • Overall knowledge of the entire product/service portfolio:
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite, SAP B1 (or a ERP);
  • Knowledge of the ISO system affecting this position including record keeping requirements.
