Ian Martin Workforce is working alongside an Award-Winning organization that has projects in many fields including utilities, infrastructure, civil works, environmental and landscape construction.
Ideally, we are looking for long-time employees. You will start as a contract until the end of the years and in the Spring, we would bring you on full-time if you prove to our team that you are reliable, focused, and show your ability to learn and grow.
As the new General Labourer, you will be responsible for supporting our construction projects on the ground. This will involve preparing worksites, moving materials, using hand and power tools, and supporting the project's site supervisor however you can.
Day to Day:
Move materials, take care of site housekeeping, shovel, rake, plant,
Direct vehicles and equipment
Use gas-powered tools like tamper plates and cut-off saws, etc.
Help others on-site to complete important tasks
Reliability - On-site every day and ready to work
G license and able to get to site every day
A good problem solver
Active listener and able to take direction well.
