Ian Martin Workforce has partnered with a high technology company that offers production solutions of machine tools, laser technology, and electronics. They are looking for experienced Machine Assemblers to perform complex machine tool assembly.


You will be doing…

  • Work from blueprints, part lists, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
  • Measure in inch and metric.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting.
  • Improve all related processes considering productivity, efficiency, and working conditions.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area.
  • Attend applicable meetings and implement resulting decisions.
  • Follow and enforce company rules and regulations.
  • Support SYNCHRO and follow TRUMPF Quality Standards (TQS).
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP). 

Why this is the right job for you…

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in machine tool assembly or 5 years of experience in manufacturing of machine tool parts, maintenance, or service
  • Must be able to work with accurate measuring devices
  • Ability to read simple schematics and blueprints is essential.
  • Familiarity with documentation, drawings, and part lists is helpful. 
  • Experience with electrical wiring assembly and computer literacy a plus, forklift license a plus 
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, able to stand continuously, repetitively reach and bend
  • Able to commit to schedule, reliable transportation to and from site; flexible to work overtime when needed
  • Willingness to ask questions and work safely at all times
  • Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol testing and Criminal Record Check is required
