Ian Martin Workforce has partnered with a mechanical contractor that offers a varierty of services including Millwrighting and Rigging, Welding, Process Piping, and Custom Fabrication. They are seeking to grow their team and are open to all levels of experience for Millwrights, Pipefitters, and Welders.
You will be…
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
Rigging, installation, and movement of heavy equipment, machinery, and process equipment
Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings
Pipe fitting and welding of process piping, equipment, and safety barriers
Diagnosing problems and troubleshooting machinery and process equipment that is not working as intended
Responding to emergency breakdowns
Performing inspections, repairs, and modifications primarily in the field, but also in a shop setting
Fabrication/welding of safety guarding, process equipment, and structural elements
Licensed and/or Registered Trades preferred or equivalent experience
You can clearly communicate in both oral and written form.
Reliable transportation to shop or to site, and back
Have a basic set of hand tools and workboots
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, kneel and reach overhead
Ability to consistently work safely and maintain a safe work environment
