Our client, a Canadian global leader in exploration, mine engineering, and environmental protection has an immediate need for a 2 Geologists to support projects within the mining industry This is a contract position for twenty (20) months and will require candidates to work in Northern Saskatchewan site Cigar Lake,
- Fly In Fly Out Camp accommodations provided
- Rotation (2 weeks in-2 weeks out, 11 hours a day)
- Company Charter Flights provided - Departing from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Accountabilities
- Assist with geologist and geological technician duties
- Primary responsibilities include core logging, directional drilling oversight (gyro surveying) and down-hole probing (gamma and neutron)
- Database management
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years’ experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geological Engineering
- Registered or eligible to be registered with APEGS as P.Geo./P.Eng. or Geologist in Training/Engineer in Training
- Must provide a criminal background check and maintain cleared status through term
OR
- Geological Technology diploma plus equivalent experience
- Must provide a criminal background check and maintain cleared status through term
Additional Information
- Tuesday rotation day, Will work night shift approximately every third rotation
