Ian Martin Workforce has partnered with a company that is a producer of malic acid and food-grade fumaric acid. They are commissioning a new reactor and looking for skilled support to accomplish inside a set time frame.


What you will be doing...

  • Loading new reactor with critical catalyst and process components as part of a team working in concert to complete this time-sensitive activity
  • Working within a team of 8 to pour measured components into 1" diameter tubes
  • Working in sequence to perform tasks in a systematic and precise approach
  • Using strong communication skills and teamwork to keep a fast pace throughout the shift
  • Following the exact instructions given and asking clarifying questions before proceeding
  • Standing, bending, crouching, moving up and down stairs throughout the duration of the shift


 Why this is the right job for you…

  • Able to start Monday, November 1st, and commit to the duration of the contract (approx 3 to 4 weeks)
  • Flexible to work either Day (6 AM to 2:30 PM) or Afternoons (2:30 PM to 11 PM)
  • Able to work Monday to Friday, flexible for Saturday to ensure the project is completed on time
  • Capable of walking up and down stairs throughout the shift and stand for extended periods of time
  • Previous experience working in a technical role (light assembly, panel building, etc.) with fine motor skills
  • Strong commitment to safety at all times; have own CSA approved safety footwear and prescription safety glasses if required
  • Ability to learn new skills in a limited amount of time
  • As a condition of employment, our client requires candidates who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This necessity is based on that work will be done in a space where physical distancing is not possible, masks are unable to be worn as it would lead to fogging of safety glasses that must be worn at all times while working and must remain clear to perform the work correctly.
