Our Client, one of North America's leading energy infrastructure companies with operations in natural gas, oil and power industries throughout Canada, the United States, and Mexico has an immediate need for an Administrative Assistant. This is a contract position for six (6) months located in Calgary, Alberta.

Description

The Administrative Assistant in this role will provide administrative support to the pipeline implementation team.

 Accountabilities

  • Managing team requests for travel, meeting room bookings, timesheet/expense entry, systems
  • Support, LMS training / reporting, organizational charts
  • Calendar management for numerous staff, catering, ordering business cards
  • New hire set up
  • Field contract admin assistance
  • Maintain distribution lists, mailing, field stationary orders, promotional items
  • Ordering, office stationary / supply orders for floors
  • Book venues for meetings
  • Provide back-up for other associates and other administrative duties.
  • Utilize many different systems from word processing, spreadsheets, SAP, SharePoint and other software used by the business.

 Required

  • Post-secondary education in Administration or related discipline preferred
  • 4 to 6 years of administrative experience 
  • Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
  •  Experience with SAP
  • Ability to work independently and yet be a dedicated and committed team player
  • Ability to demonstrate tact, diplomacy, and professionalism, and exercise discretion in dealing with confidential information
  • Detail oriented and superior organization skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at differing levels within the organization
  • Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic office environment
