You will be part of a team responsible for upgrading computers, avionics systems, visual systems and more on flight simulators. This career opportunity as a flight / performance systems specialist within the After-Sales Services department.

The role we offer you:

  • Analyze project requirements and define the configuration of simulators.
  • Intervened in the integration, testing and validation of real-time simulation models in a laboratory as well as on flight simulators of different types of aircraft.
  • Understand the dynamics of aircraft flight and apply this knowledge to validate aircraft simulations.
  • Train colleagues on performance systems and improve their skills to become a generalist in the simulator system.
  • Identify and resolve problems (hardware and software) with the help of engineers and technicians concerned.
  • Be the first point of contact with the customer during the reception and certification of upgrades.
  • Communicate with customers, other engineers and crews, both in our factory and at the customer's.

The enthusiast we are looking for has:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering.
  • Ability to program in C, C ++ or Fortran in a Unix / Linux / Windows environment.
  • Knowledge of flight aerodynamics.
  • Ability to diagnose and debug integrated systems.
  • Experience with performance on-board systems (flight, flight controls, engine).
  • Experience with customer acceptance testing, customer installation and certification of simulators.
  • Strong ability to take charge of projects, work and make decisions independently.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proactivity, flexibility and team spirit.
  • Willingness to travel to clients.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required.

You will be part of a team responsible for updating computers, avionic systems, visual and various other systems on flight simulators. This opportunity is for a flight / performance system specialist within the Post Delivery Services department.

The role we are offering you

  • Analyze the projects requirements and prepare the simulator configuration.
  • Be involved in the integration, test and validation of real time flight simulation model in laboratory environment as well as on flight simulators for various aircraft types.
  • Will have to understand aircraft flight dynamics and apply that knowledge to validate aircraft simulations.
  • Will have to train co-workers on performance systems and develop as a simulator system generalist.
  • Identify and fix software and hardware problems interacting with appropriate engineers / technicians.
  • First line of support during acceptance and qualification on updates projects.
  • Interact with customers, other engineers and air crews, both at our factory and customer site.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical engineering.

  • Knowledge of flight aerodynamics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug integrated systems.
