Our client, a Canadian global leader in exploration, mine engineering, and environmental protection has an immediate need for a Senior Commissioning Project Manager. This is a contract position for four (4) months. This role will be based out of one of the client's camp sites in norther Saskatchewan.
Fly In Fly Out Camp accommodations provided
Rotation (1 week in-1 week out, 11 hours a day)

What you will be doing...
Monitor objectives related to operations and maintenance commissioning delivery performance, technical specifications, document control, budget and work breakdown structures, project schedules, resource prioritization and staffing requirements
Develop, oversee, and review project-specific inspection test plans (ITP) to identify applicable inspections, tests, monitoring activities to be performed to confirm that the work complies with acceptance criteria
Management of contractors and consultants, ensuring close monitoring of commissioning activities against project baselines and KPIs, and frequent reporting of progress update
Participate in development, implementation and adherence to safe work procedures and promote high safety, health and environmental awareness and compliance to all standards
Effective communication, liaison with project stakeholders and coordination with colleagues including those on opposite rotation as well as colleagues based in the corporate office.
Ensuring an appropriate review process is implemented for the project including client project reviews and execution reviews
What you will need to succeed...
Demonstrated project management leadership success and ability to manage large, multi-discipline project and resources
Ability to meet or exceed aggressive deadlines while maintaining integrity, teamwork and collaboration with others
Proven experience in winning and delivering project management service for mining and processing commissioning projects
Exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, negotiation and presentation skills
Strong proficiency with or understanding of project management tools, MS 365
Troubleshooting issues and problems on the fly
Collaboratively and inclusively work with project and client teams
Must be self-sufficient, self motivated and the ability to multi-task
NICE TO HAVES
Professional Degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Journeyperson trade certificate or technologist diploma or equivalent
