Quarry Worker

The Role

Hy-Tec currently has an opportunity for a Quarry Worker to join our Kalbar, Queensland plant in a full time permanent role. Our Quarry Workers operate mobile and fixed plant and equipment, including front end loaders and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained
• Operate mobile and fixed plant
• Undertake housekeeping, basic maintenance and general labouring duties
• Report Incidents/hazards to the supervisor

What you will need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience in operating mobile plant and/or heavy equipment
• Current driver's licence and own reliable transport
• Loader operator ticket (preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude (preferred)
• Strong commitment to health and safety
