Plant Operator / Concrete Batcher - Emu Plains

The role:

We’re looking for a confident, capable Plant Operator / Concrete Batcher to take ownership of batching, materials handling, and the smooth day‑to‑day running of our Emu Plains plant. As the Batcher onsite, you’ll be trusted to keep everything moving safely, efficiently, and to standard. Your responsibilities include:

·          Batching concrete

·          Operating the Front-End Loader

·          Receipting and scheduling raw material deliveries

·          Coordinating and supervising maintenance activities (and handling basic fixes when needed)

·          Conducting operational checks – equipment, safety, environmental , and general compliance

·          Yard work to keep operations tidy and functional

Hours: This is a Monday-Friday, full time role with the opportunity for regular overtime including Saturday shifts.

What you'll need to succeed:

We’re looking for someone who’s confident working independently and understands the rhythm of a concrete plant. Ideally, you will have experience in a similar batching or plant operations role and bring:

·          Knowledge of cement or concrete manufacturing processes

·          A Front-End Loader ticket (essential)

·          Experience with Jonel or Command batching systems

·          A strong commitment to HSE compliance

·          A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and maintenance

·          A Forklift license (desirable)
