Driver - Tipper

The Role

Central Premix currently has an opportunity for an experienced Heavy Combination (HC) or Multi-Combination (MC) licenced Tipper Driver.

This is a full-time, day-shift position 2am-2pm based at our Hallam site. You’ll be responsible for loading and delivering raw materials used in concrete and aggregate production to various sites across the Melbourne Metro area, as well as maintaining your vehicle. The role involves working six days per week with set start and finish times. We offer a competitive hourly rate and regular paid overtime opportunities.

About You

You enjoy working with different people and take pride in doing quality work. You’re safety-focused, reliable, and able to prioritise tasks effectively. To apply, you must hold a current HC or MC licence and have at least 12 months of experience driving multi or heavy combination vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver Raw Materials to company sites.
• Ensure safety, Health & Environment Standards are maintained.
• Comply with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Fatigue Management and Mass Management requirements.
• Complete basic documentation.
• Maintain professional customer relationships.
• Maintain the vehicle in a clean and tidy condition.

What you will need to succeed

• Current HC or MC drivers’ licence and be able to provide a clean driver licence history check – essential.
• A reliable team player attitude with a focus on customer service.
• Strong work ethic and sense of integrity to allow you to work independently.
• Previous tipper experience advantageous but not required.
• Relevant building/concrete industry experience advantageous but not required.
