The role
We currently have an opportunity for a self-motivated, customer service focussed person to join our supportive team as a Transport Coordinator in our NSW Logistics team.
Based at our Silverwater office, this full-time permanent opportunity will support the day-to-day management of our heavy vehicle and contractor fleet to ensure compliance, enhance efficiency, and maintain the smooth functioning of our processes.
This role involves using various software platforms to manage Chain of Responsibility (CoR), compliance, vehicle maintenance, contractor queries, invoicing in SAP, and overall fleet and asset management. The role also requires handling financial transactions, purchase orders, and ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
This position offers a dynamic work environment, with opportunities for on-the-job training and involvement in process improvements to drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Ensure vehicle and contractor compliance with safety regulations, vehicle servicing, and documentation through our Contractor Management Systems.
- SAP Experience is essential to process a high number of customer invoices, data entry, collation and reconciliation
- Support in fleet and asset maintenance, servicing and compliance through Gearbox (an asset servicing platform)
- Knowledge of the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR).
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of purchase orders, vehicle registration checks, and task-related closeouts.
- Resolve internal and external customer queries
What you will need to succeed
- An experienced coordinator with excellent time management and organisational skills that supports working in a busy environment
- Ability to interact in a friendly and professional manner at all times
- Problem solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel software, SAP experience beneficial
- A strong commitment to customer service
- Effective communication skills with external and internal stakeholders
- Have a strong ability to pick up and manage multiple systems.
