Quarry Account Manager

The Role

We have a rare opportunity for an experienced and results driven sales professional to represent our Queensland Quarries as an Account Manager.

Based in Brisbane, this full-time role will be responsible for account management for our Fernvale and Kalbar Quarries. The role will involve generating new business whilst also maintaining existing customer and industry relationships. The successful candidate will require a technical mindset to thoroughly understand customer needs and deliver appropriate product solutions.

You will be rewarded with an attractive salary package including a fully maintained company vehicle. 

Responsibilities

• Deliver client-focused solutions
• Drive new business opportunities through lead generation and market analysis
• Communicate with and influence key stakeholders at all organisational levels
• Effectively manage multiple account management activities at a time
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and understand logistics chain of responsibility
• Conduct regular market reviews to provide up to date competitor and market data
• Provide client and market led input into product strategies

What you will need to succeed

• Demonstrated success in developing and effectively implementing sales solutions
• Confidence and self-motivation to achieve targets and identify opportunities for growth
• Experience in selling technical products and / or services
• Excellent listening, influencing, negotiation and presentation abilities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to proactively engage with both corporate and site-based external stakeholders and clients
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise competing demands
