AI at Humanforce
At Humanforce, we’re not experimenting at the edges of AI, we’re redesigning the core of how we operate. We see AI as a fundamental shift, not an incremental improvement, and we’re deliberately moving toward becoming an AI-native organisation.
That means rethinking how work gets done end-to-end, how we build our products, make decisions, serve customers, and scale impact. We’re not layering AI onto old ways of working, we’re redefining and reimagining our processes, tools, and team structures to take full advantage of what AI makes possible.
This is a moment of real change. We’re moving fast, learning in real time, and challenging assumptions about roles, workflows, and productivity. If you’re motivated by transformation, not optimisation, and want to help shape how a global tech company operates in an AI-first future, Humanforce is the place to do it.
Who you are
We’re looking for someone who builds things. Not someone who waits for a ticket, follows a spec, and ships exactly what was asked, but someone who sees a problem, figures out the right solution, and builds it.
As a Revenue Systems Automation Engineer you’ll own the design and delivery of automations and integrations that run across our GTM and quote-to-cash operations. The operational landscape is your context; you’ll need to understand it deeply, but building is how you operate within it.
This role sits at the intersection of systems thinking, AI-enabled tooling, and hands-on build capability. You’ll be expected to rapidly prototype solutions using AI-assisted development, iterate quickly, and ship automations that are reliable and scalable, not just functional.
Your primary focus is GTM and quote-to-cash, but this role has scope beyond that. You’ll also support other operational teams, including people operations and customer support; where automation can drive meaningful efficiency gains. Variety is part of the job.
What you will do
Build automations that solve real problems
- Design and deliver workflow automations across GTM and quote-to-cash, from lead routing and pipeline management to billing triggers and onboarding flows
- Rapidly prototype solutions using AI-assisted development tools, iterating from concept to working automation in hours, not weeks
- Build lightweight custom integrations using scripting and APIs where low-code tooling reaches its limits
- Translate ambiguous business problems into well-scoped, practical automation outcomes, without needing a fully defined brief to get started
- Support automation needs across people operations, customer support, and other operational teams when capacity and priority allow
Lead AI-enabled automation
- Identify where AI adds genuine leverage, LLM-assisted data enrichment, classification, intelligent routing, dynamic content generation, and build those capabilities into the automation estate
- Use AI coding tools to accelerate build cycles: generate boilerplate, debug complex logic, explore approaches, and ship faster
- Bring a practical, outcome-focused perspective to AI adoption, knowing when to use it and when not to
- Stay close to the evolving AI tooling landscape and bring informed recommendations back to the team
Own and evolve the automation estate
- Take ownership of existing automations across Zapier, Make, and custom workflows, monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving them proactively
- Identify and address reliability gaps, data quality issues, and technical debt before they become problems
- Maintain clear documentation and operational runbooks across the automation estate
- Refactor legacy automations to improve scalability as the business grows and the stack evolves
Operate as a problem-solver, not an order-taker
- Engage with business stakeholders across multiple teams to understand the underlying problem, not just the stated request
- Propose and push back on solutions where a better approach exists; bring options, not just execution
- Apply deep process knowledge across GTM, quote-to-cash, and operational functions to spot improvement opportunities others miss
- Work with appropriate urgency, able to triage, prioritise, and self-direct without constant oversight
What you’ll need
Builder mindset
- Strong hands-on experience building automations and integrations — you ship things, not just designs
- Comfortable moving from problem to working prototype quickly, using whatever tools get you there
- Not dependent on a fully-defined spec to start building
AI-first approach
- Actively uses AI coding and development tools as part of your everyday workflow
- Experience integrating LLM APIs or AI services into automation workflows
- Knows how to evaluate AI use cases pragmatically, not just enthusiastically
Technical capability
- Hands-on with Make (Integromat) and/or Zapier
- Comfortable with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON
- Scripting ability in Python or JavaScript for custom logic
Operational breadth
- Strong understanding of GTM and quote-to-cash processes
- Exposure to other operational functions beyond, CX, People ops, finance workflows is a bonus
- Able to engage credibly with diverse stakeholders and challenge requirements where needed
Why this role matters?
This role is the connective tissue between our strategic systems ambitions and the operational reality of running a complex, integrated GTM stack day to day.
You’ll be joining a team that has genuine authority over the systems it owns, works directly with senior stakeholders across the business, and is actively shaping how Humanforce uses AI to improve its commercial operations.
