What You’ll have:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within financial services.
  • Proven compliance skills, ideally with experience in managed accounts, financial advisory, insurance and/or a funds management business.
  • Experienced identifying risks and implementing & monitoring controls would be beneficial (however not essential).
  • Experienced in the ASIC Regulatory environment.
  • Ability to review and implement regular compliance reporting to senior management and/or compliance committees.
  • Excellent communication skills, with strong client / stakeholder relationship management abilities.

What You'll Be Doing

Working autonomously within a team environment, you will be responsible for providing compliance services to a range of Financial Services organisations and supporting other compliance professionals within your specialisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the internal Compliance Officer and/or a compliance resource for clients of Source Compliance.
  • Implement compliance programs and manage the ongoing monitoring.
  • Conduct AML/CTF compliance reviews and annual compliance reviews of regulated entities.
  • Conduct AFSL health checks, assist AFSL regulatory lodgements, prepare AFSL variations and update key proof documentation.
  • Prepare tailored policies and procedures for clients.
  • Complete and/or supervise adviser compliance reviews.
  • Provide ongoing support to advisory practices in relation to their ongoing compliance obligations.
  • Liaise with auditors and Annual Audit management.
  • Assist with reviewing and feedback on disclosure documents.
  • Prepare compliance reports to Boards and Committees as required.
  • Review marketing materials for compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
  • ASIC protocol reference checking.
