Hotel Manager

Waymark Hotels is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Hotel Manager to join the team at Hotel Metropole.

The Metropole is a great spot to meet, have a beer, and enjoy a bite to eat in the bistro. Conveniently located in the heart of Proserpine, the Hotel Metropole is home to the Cane Cutters Bistro, a number of bars, a premier gaming lounge, functions space and Cheers Liquor Barn & Drive-Thru.

Established in 1900, the Hotel Metropole is one of Proserpine’s oldest pubs and has earnt a place in all local hearts!

The Role:

As the Hotel Manager, you will be required to provide strong leadership and management across all Hotel operations. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Assistant Hotel Manager to take the next step in their career.

The successful candidate will be:

• Extremely hands-on throughout the Hotel.
• A manager who leads from the front and is the face of the business.
• Have working knowledge across accommodation, bars, and gaming.

The following skills, behaviors, and qualifications are essential:

• Current Approved Manager Licence, RMLV, Gaming Nominee Training, RSA and RSG
• Strong leadership, training, and motivational skills with excellent communication
• High-level standard of personal presentation & hygiene
• Availability to work hospitality hours
• Ability to manage conflict, remain calm under pressure, and work unsupervised
