Venue Manager

Lead a well-known country pub at the heart of Proserpine as Venue Manager. You’ll oversee all core operations including food and beverage, gaming, and accommodation, while playing a key role in upcoming renovations to transform the venue into a regional showpiece. All this, just a short drive from Airlie Beach and the stunning Whitsundays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and all departments, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
• Drive revenue growth through innovative strategies, creating unique events and exceptional customer service.
• Manage budgets and financial reporting, ensuring cost controls are in place.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and health & safety requirements.
• Foster relationships with the local community and enhance the hotel's reputation.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Venue Manager or in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead by example and inspire your team to deliver excellence.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for hospitality.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• RMLV (Responsible Management of Licensed Venues)
• Approved Manager’s License
• Gaming Nomination & License
• Customer Liaison Officer (CLO) certification
• QLD RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)
• QLD RSG (Responsible Service of Gambling)
