About the role:
As our Victorian State Manager you will lead a team of Account Managers whose primary purpose is to conserve existing employer/member base whilst at the same time identifying and generating new business for Hostplus.
Some of your key duties will be to:
- Develop and maintain strong and valued B2B relationships at all levels of seniority within allocated portfolio of clients.
- Develop and execute of an annual state business plan.
- Support the Account Managers in the development and execution of individual business plans.
- Develop opportunities and maintain relationships with prospective employers as well as ensuring the smooth transition of any large new business.
- Manage and Lead state based Account Managers including supervision of their duties and responsibilities.
- Organise and deliver workshops and individual general advice programs for employers/members at their workplace.
- Promotion of all Hostplus whole of fund campaigns to portfolio of clients, as well as providing feedback on their effectiveness.
About you:
We are looking for someone with a flair for building lasting relationships with clients and a demonstrated track record of account management & people leadership, ideally from the superannuation or financial services sector.
Some of the other key skills & experience we're looking for are:
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful account management and sales strategies, including the development and growth of strong B2B relationships.
- Knowledge of the industrial relations environment and superannuation issues (eg. State/Federal Awards and EBAs).
- Ability to analyse and understand employer and member data and communicate these insights and trends to relevant parties both internally and externally.
- RG 146 compliant.
